After nine matches were rescheduled, ICC and BCCI give massive update on ODI World Cup tickets

ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets: After a long delay, there is finally good news for fans as the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) and International Cricket Council (ICC) released information about ODI World Cup Tickets. While the sale of tickets will be available from August 25, fans can pre-register tickets on August 15. After some tweaking in the schedule of ODI World Cup, the ticket information news came out.

Along India vs Pakistan match, eight games are rescheduled Pakistan vs England, Australia vs South Africa, Australia vs Bangladesh, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, New Zealand vs Bangladesh, Australia vs England, England vs Pakistan, and India vs Netherlands match are the games that are rescheduled due to festive and security reasons. With nine matches tweaked, naturally, the ticket process was delayed due to this scene.

With registration information out, fans can finally plan their travel and hotel stay. August 15 they can pre-register, and here is the step-by-step process for the same.

ODI World Cup 2023 ticket bookings will start on August 25th in phase-wise-basis. Before the tickets go on sale, fans will have to register their interest via https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register from 15 August. The booking will be carried out in this order.

  • August 25: Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
  • August 30: India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
  • August 31: India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune
  • September 1: India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai
  • September 2: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
  • September 3: India matches at Ahmedabad
  • September 15: Semi-Finals and Final

In another major development, there won’t be any E-ticket facilities also as fans have to collect tickets from box office counters. Also, BCCI will each receive 300 free hospitality tickets as needed for each game. Furthermore, the state must provide the ICC with 1295 tickets for league games and 1355 tickets for the matches against India and the semifinals.

Both BookMyShow and Paytm will manage the sale of WC tickets. However, there will be no digital tickets. The price range for the tickets will be between Rs 500 and Rs 10,000 per ticket. The prices will depend on the venue and the match.
