The IND vs AUS World Cup final had 59 million concurrent viewers while the IND vs PAK clash had 43 million viewers, match the IND vs NZ group stage match in terms of viewing. Ahead of the tournament, it was claimed that the clash between the two rival nations would be the biggest crowd puller.
But with India reaching the finals and tipped as the favorites, millions across the globe sat glued to their TV sets to watch India take on the Men in Yellow.
India faced Pakistan at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad where Rohit Sharma and Co comfortably outclassed their rivals by 7 wickets.
