After a long wait, the Asia Cup Schedule is finally out. ACC President Jay Shah released the fixtures for the Asia Cup 2023, starting on August 30. As per the approved hybrid model, Pakistan will host four games, while Sri Lanka will host the other nine.
It will be the first time that the Asia Cup is co-hosted by two countries. However, there is no caravan model opted. Meaning, teams will travel back and forth from Pakistan and Sri Lanka for their matches.

Pakistan begin their campaign on August 30 in Multan. They will then travel to Kandy to play India in their other group-stage game. Should they qualify, they will play their first Super 4 match in Lahore.

Likewise, Bangladesh face Sri Lanka in Kandy on 31st August. They then face Afghanistan in Lahore on September 3. Should they make it to Super 4s, Tamim Iqbal’s side will travel to Lahore again for their game against Pakistan/Nepal on September 6.
To facilitate the back-and-forth travel, the ACC will arrange both charter and commercial flights for the logistical requirements. Only India play all their games in Sri Lanka, while the other 5 teams have at least one game in Pakistan.
Understanding workload management, the ACC has added rest days to the schedule. Given the demands of the 50-over format and games coming thick and fast, the Asia Cup has a two-day gap in fixtures between the Super 4s stage. There is also a 1-day gap between the group stage and Super 4 matches.
