No border between them! Pakistan opener wishes Sarfaraz Khan after latter’s maiden call-up

Sarfaraz averages 69.86 in first-class cricket and is fourth on the list of batters with the highest average in first-class cricket.

Not only Sarfaraz Khan and his parents, but even players of India’s fiercest competitors, the Pakistan cricket team, are elated for the player. Earlier today, the domestic giant received his maiden Test call-up after KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja were ruled out of the IND vs ENG 2nd Test.

Sarfaraz Khan, his fans, and domestic cricket lovers are all ecstatic that, after years of performance, the 26-year-old has finally gotten the opportunity to represent his nation at the highest level.

Pakistani star player Ima-ul-Haq also joined this bandwagon. The opener took to his X account, posted an image of the batter, and wrote, “Congratulations brother So Happy for you ❤️❤️”.

Sarfaraz Khan had to toil hard to get his maiden call-up for the India cricket team. Having been playing first-class cricket for the last 10 years, the batter averages 69.85 in 45 matches. Despite his performances, the Indian management had continued to look his way with tried and tested batters like KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer.

His averages had boomed so high that currently, he has the fourth-highest average for any player in first-class cricket. Although he has finally gotten his chance owing to injury to Rahul and Virat Kohli’s absence, he’ll be looking to stamp his authority and seal his spot in the team if given the chance.
