New member about to join the Dhoni family soon? Sakshi shares update while cheering for CSK

Sakshi Dhoni, wife of MS Dhoni, recently shared a massive update while cheering for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the match vs SRH

Excitement filled the Chepauk Stadium on Sunday (April 28) as the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) faced off against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their last home game of IPL 2024. But the buzz wasn’t just limited to the on-field action. Among the cheering crowd was MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Dhoni, who grabbed attention for a reason beyond her usual support for CSK.

In a heart-warming social media update, Sakshi uploaded a video on her Instagram. She expressed her eagerness for the match to finish. The reason? A new member may be about to join the Dhoni family soon! While the video didn’t explicitly reveal details, Sakshi’s message hinted at her becoming an aunt, adding a touch of personal joy to the high-octane atmosphere at the stadium.

CSK register a massive win vs SRH

CSK ended their IPL 2024 home campaign on a high note, crushing SRH by a massive 78 runs on Sunday.

Opting to bat first, CSK rode on a brilliant knock by skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad (98) to post an imposing total of 212 runs on the board. The other batsmen provided a solid foundation, and Gaikwad anchored the innings with his fourth IPL fifty of the season.

In reply, SRH’s batting faltered against a disciplined CSK bowling attack. Pacer Tushar Deshpande was the wrecker-in-chief, picking up a four-wicket haul (4/27) to dismantle the Hyderabad batting line-up. The visitors were bundled out for a meagre 134 runs in 18 overs, handing CSK a comprehensive victory.
