While India could not win the Test series 2-0, Rohit Sharma saw the bright side of things and took to Twitter to post a cheeky Tweet. The India skipper posted a picture of rain along with Ishan Kishan, Ajinkya Rahane, Mukesh Kumar, and Virat Kohli and captioned the post, “Mumbai ya Trinidad.’
Rohit, who hails from Mumbai is used to seeing heavy rains in the financial Capital of India, and not so much in Trinidad. Heading into the fifth day, the visitors needed to take eight wickets to whitewash Windies 2-0 and maintain the top position on the World Test Championship (WTC) points table.

However, that could not happen as India slipped to number two in the WTC table.
After the Test series, India will play three ODIs against West Indies, which will begin from July 27 onwards.

With ODI World Cup 2023 just three months away, skipper Rohit Sharma has a chance to finalize combination in the upcoming three ODIs. While India are missing a few of their first-choice players like Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, and Rishabh Pant, the visitors have a good chance to test the bench strength.
Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Ruturaj Gaikwad are selected as backups and have a golden opportunity to impress the selectors in the three ODIs. All-rounders like Hardik Pandya, Jadeja, and Axar Patel will also get ample opportunities to showcase their form. Pandya, who is the designated vice-captain of the ODI team, is back after a two-month break. The all-rounder will play as a finisher in the ODIs along with Jadeja.
