Mumbai Indians (MI) IPL 2021 new schedule: Full fixtures table, timings, venues, live streaming, Squads – Defending champions Mumbai Indians are the most successful team in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) having won five titles so far. Led by Rohit Sharma, the franchise has been labelled as one of the best-assembled teams in T20 cricket across the globe. The Mumbai Indians boast of a XI full of superstars including the Hit-Man himself, alongside Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit  Bumrah and Trent Boult making them perhaps the most popular franchise from the competition.

Mumbai Indians did not enjoy much success before Rohit Sharma took over captaincy midway throw the 2013 campaign. In their first five seasons in the IPL, Mumbai Indians finished in the playoff spots only thrice, reaching the final in 2010 when they lost to arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings. However, since then they have been one of the most successful franchise teams of the decade winning five titles in eight years, to stamp their authority as the most successful team in the history of the IPL.

This season, however, after back to back championship wins, Mumbai Indians find themselves in 4th place, with four wins and three losses in their seven games so far. They won their last two games before the suspension to remain in the playoff spots and will be aiming to be there when the group stage draws to a close.
