West Indies batter Kavem Hodge was forced to use his abdomen guard to deflect the ball in AUS vs WI 2nd Test, leaving netizens in splits.

West Indies batter Kavem Hodge’s painful leave has the netizens in splits during Day 3 of the AUS vs WI 2nd Test at the Gabba on Saturday.

The painful yet hilarious incident took place during Nathan Lyon’s sixth over. Lyon bowled a length ball that turned and bounced much to the surprise of Hodge who was forced to use his abdomen guard to deflect the ball.

The incident left the netizens in splits who then came up with funny comments on social media.

The ongoing second Test at Gabba is hanging in balance with both sides in hunt to secure a win. West Indies have lost 9 wicket for 189 but have extended their lead to over 200.
