“MS Dhoni’s hands quicker than those in the Wild West”: CSK legend on fire vs RCB

IPL 2025, CSK vs RCB: It is quite a usual sight to see MS Dhoni effect quick stumpings, and the match vs Bengaluru is no different.

MS Dhoni was at it again as he whipped the bails off in a flash to stump Phil Salt off the bowing of Noor Ahmed.
Phil Salt was in red-hot form for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their match against Chennai Super Kings and it would have needed something special to stop the Englishman in his tracks.

MS Dhoni Lightning-quick Again

Former Australia and Chennai Super Kings opener Matthew Hayden was super impressed with Dhoni’s glovework and lauded his brilliance: “Lightening fast hands,” he quipped on air for JioHotstar. “You won’t find quicker hands than those, not even in the wild, wild west. That’s MSD magic again,” Deep Dasgupta gushed on air during commentary for JioHotstar.

MSD Rocked, RCB Shocked

MS Dhoni retired from international cricket nearly 5 years ago but he continues to remain the most high-profile player in the Indian Premier League. This wasn’t the first time that Dhoni showed off his sensational wicketkeeping skills this season.

In CSK’s season opening game against Mumbai Indians and again triggered a meme fest on social media as fans could not stay calm. MS Dhoni has led Chennai Super Kings to all their 5 IPL titles and it was finally before the start of the 2024 season that he handed over the reins to Ruturaj Gaikwad.
