MS Dhoni is yet again in the news, but this time not for his Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, but for ditching India’s match against Sri Lanka yesterday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, and instead meeting Shah Rukh Khan. The Bollywood Actor celebrated his birthday on November 2, and by the looks of it, Dhoni attended the party in Mumbai. The CSK skipper was snapped in a photo with Pooja Dadlani (SRK’s manager).

Dhoni, who is not known to be social this time made an exception for Shah Rukh Khan. The CSK skipper was seen acing the casual look by sporting a black shirt and jacket. The wicketkeeper batter also flaunted his new haircut and was undoubtedly the showstopper in the party.

Apart from Dhoni, many Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Atlee, Karishma Kapoor, Kareen Kapoor, and Rajkumar Hirani were seen attending SRK’s grand bday bash. 

Intrestingly Dhoni skipping India match for SRK’s birthday grabbed eyeballs. The CSK batter shares a warm bond with Bollywood Star. Speaking about the CSK batter, he is yet again in the limelight for playing yet another IPL season for CSK. Dhoni underwent knee surgery and has said he will announce playing yet another IPL season by December.

In a massive piece of news, Sakshi revealed that Dhoni is recovering well from knee surgery. The CSK skipper went under the knife immediately after the IPL 2023 season was over. The 42-year-old communicated to CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan about surgery and also mentioned taking his time before playing yet another season for CSK or retiring.

After the finals against GT, Dhoni said to Harsha Bhogle about not announcing retirement and said he would like to play one more season of IPL as a gift to fans. However, the wicketkeeper batter’s decision solely hinges on his recovery. With the IPL 2024 season still eight months away, the former India captain still has a lot of time to make a decision in the best interest of CSK.
