Throughout his career, Dhoni has been known to use bats weighing around 1200-1300 grams. However, for IPL 2025, the CSK stalwart has opted for a bat weighing approximately 1230 grams. This modification was confirmed by his ex-teammate Suresh Raina and sources close to the renowned cricket equipment company, Sanspareils Greenlands Pvt. Ltd, which recently delivered four new bats to him.
