Coming into bat after the fall of skipper Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav drove a dagger through the Dutch hearts with a stunning assault at SCG on Thursday. In his typical fashion, Surya pulled off some audacious shots to build a fine 95-run stand with Virat Kohli to take India to 179.
Suryakumar was batting on 45 when he hit the last ball of the innings for a gigantic six to reach yet another half-century. The 32-year-old got to the milestone in just 25 balls, the fourth fastest by an Indian.

Among the top 15 run-getters in T20Is this year, Suryakumar Yadav has the best strike rate of 184.86. Among the others, only Sikander Raza has crossed the 150 mark, signalling the skill and consistency of the Indian superstar.
