Royal Challengers Bengaluru star batter Virat Kohli is the leading run-scorer in IPL. With 8004 runs, which he has earned in 252 IPL matches (244 innings). Virat Kohli has smashed a record eight centuries and 55 fifties. He has an average of 38.66 runs per game.
Rohit Sharma
With 6779 runs, Rohit Sharma is second only to Virat Kohli. Apart from Kohli and MS Dhoni, Rohit is only of the few players to play each edition of IPL since it began in 2008. Rohit has two centuries and 44 fifties. He is also among four players to score over 6000 runs in IPL history.
Shikhar Dhawan
Former PBKS captain Shikhar Dhawan has amassed 6769 runs at an average of 35.25 in 222 IPL matches. He is placed second on the list.
Seven players have hit more than 5000 runs in the IPL to date. RCB, PBKS, DC, MI, and CSK players are among the list’s top scorers.
