Do or Die scenario for Mumbai Indians
As things stand, Mumbai Indians are virtually knockout out from the race for the IPL Playoffs. But mathematically, they are still alive. Hardik Pandya and Co need to win all their remaining 3 matches and it starts against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The only good thing for MI, SRH are on a poor run. With the other teams fighting hard and grinding out results, MI can cause a huge upset if they go on to beat Pat Cummins and his side at Wankhede.
Sunrisers Hyderabad can Slip!
Albeit sitting on the 4th spot of the points table, it won’t be easily flowing for SRH. They Nizams currently have 6 wins and 4 losses. But most importantly, SRH are on a poor run off late. They lost 2 games in the recent past and only etched out a win in the last encounter against Rajasthan Royals by just 1 run.
With other teams down below like LSG, DC, and RCB fighting for a place in the top 4, it is also essentially a do-or-die clash for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
