Both Kapp and Nortje play their club cricket in South Africa for Eastern Province. Kapp has gone onto become  premier all-rounder in world cricket. Nortje on the other hand has established himself as a key pacer in the South Africa men’s cricket team. Coming to franchisee cricket Nortje joined Delhi Capitals as an injury replacement for Chris Woakes ahead of IPL 2020. However, he has gone onto established himself as one of the most important players for the team.

Kapp on the other hand was brought by Delhi Capitals for 1.5 crore. She recently featured in World T20 Final for South Africa.  The all-rounder with her experience is a great addition for the Capitals. Apart from being wicket-taking option she can be used by DC to play anywhere in the batting lineup. It will be interesting to see how DC uses her in the inaugural edition.

Delhi Capitals team looks pretty decent side on paper with proven talents on the international level.  The batting unit will have the presence of Alice Capsey, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodriguez and Meg Lanning. The middle order will comprise of the likes of  Marizanne Kapp, Shikha Pandey and Taniya Bhatia who could score runs in the lower order.

However the bowling unit of  Capitals’ looks to be a a little on weaker side  headed byspin trio of Radha Yadav, Jess Jonassesn and Poonam Yadav. The pace department will comprise of Under-19-star Titas Sadhu, Shikha Pandey and Marizanne Kapp. It will be interesting to see how the DC Women’s team cope throughout the duration of the tournament.
