Marcus Stoinis & three other overseas stars to join PBKS on Tuesday, available for May 24 clash

Marcus Stoinis and other overseas stars had headed back home, after the military tensions between India and Pakistan had escalated.

In a massive boost to PBKS chances in the playoffs, teams ever-reliable Marcus Stoinis, along with Josh Inglis, Aaron Hardie and Kyle Jamieson will arrive in India on Tuesday. As per a report in ESPNCricinfo, all four will be available for selection straightaway, when PBKS play DC on May 24.

Marcus Stoinis Returns for PBKS

This news comes at a time when PBKS are in third slot currently, and have a good chance of making it to the Qualifier 1, by finishing in the top of the points table. Meanwhile Stoinis has scored 82 runs in seven innings that he has played this year, at a strike-rate of 167. On the other hand, Inglis has scored 92 in 6, at a strike-rate of 139.39.

Meanwhile, Hardie is yet to play a match this season, and was picked for INR 1.25 Cr at the IPL auction. Kyle Jamieson was brought in as a late replacement to injured Lockie Ferguson. South African Marco Jansen had already joined the team, and participated in their last match vs RR.
