After their bowlers got trounced by the Kolkata Knight Rider, Sanju Samson will be happy that two of his major assets are back. Rajasthan Royals (RR) ace pacers Sandeep Sharma and Nandre Burger are likely to make a return. Sandeep has been out of action since April 7, while Burger last played on April 6.
The two pacers are likely to be back in action in their next group-stage game against the Mumbai Indians on April 22. Since they left, Rajasthan has lost their first match of the IPL 2024 season and may lose their second match to Kolkata Knight Riders today (April 16).

During the first inning, when Rajasthan Royals were bowling, their Director of Cricket, Kumar Sangakkara, revealed that both pacers had recovered from their respective injuries. While talking with JioCinema he said:
“Sandeep Sharma and Nandre Burger have recovered well from their injuries, and Burger might have played today had they batted first.”
