Lucknow Super Giants is only into its second IPL season, having made their debut in 2022. Before the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, LSG had played only 16 games in the league, which means they are a young side when compared to heavyweights like the Mumbai Indians or the Chennai Super Kings.
When it comes to chasing, the Lucknow Super Giants have won only two matches so far in the IPL. The two victories came against the Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022. On the flip side, LSG has lost seven matches to their opponents when asked to chase a score. This is a paltry record for a team that is filled with stars like KL Rahul, Krunal Pandya, and others.
