Punjab Kings stumble to 200

Punjab Kings were once again off to a flier. They were 100/1 after 11 overs. But Mumbai came back into the game. Shardul Thakur struck twice in the 12th over. Raj Bawa sent Cooper Connolly back, and all of a sudden, Punjab lost 3 wickets for 4 runs. They kept losing wickets and were 166/8 with 2 overs left. Punjab decided to sub Vishnu Vinod in to finish it off, and he scored 15 off 8. Azmatullah Omarzai and Xavier Bartlett scored 38 off 17 and 18 off 7 as Punjab managed to get to 200.

Tilak Varma aces the chase

Ryan Rickelton gave a flying start to Mumbai. He was 47 off 21 after the powerplay but Rohit Sharma was struggling at the other end. After the powerplay, Mumbai lost 3 wickets in 18 balls. Rohit’s slow knock, 25 off 26, had hurt them, and Sherfane Rutherford didn’t help, 20 off 21, either. But Tilak Varma was in the form of his life in Dharamshala. He kept Mumbai alive, scoring his fifty off just 25 balls. Will Jacks came out all guns blazing when they were struggling. His 25 off 10 helped Tilak to finish the game off with 2 sixes and remain unbeaten on 75.
