Yes, that is what happened in the low-scoring affair between Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders. LSG went on to lose their fifth game on the trot, that meant, they slipped to 10th position, while KKR managed to reach on 8th.
Rinku Singh the real hero
If not for Rinku Singh, KKR would have long lost the match. The lad, alone took his side past 150, or the score could have been well within 100-110. He went on to score 83 from 51 that changed the complexion of the innings, from 93/7 in 15 overs. In the middle, Cameron Green also scored 34 from 21 deliveries, that also went a long way in saving Kolkata.
As for LSG, the night belonged to Mohsin Khan, who returned with figures of 5/23. That did disturb the scoring pattern, but Rinku stood tall. In the last over against Digvesh Rathi, he went on to hit four sixes.

All the bowlers did well for Kolkata. Anukul Roy picked up 1/19, Vaibhav Arora 2/24, Sunil Narine 1/23 and Varun Chakravarthy 2/33. All looked good until Shami hit a last ball six against Kartik Tyagi. But the joy was short-lived for Lucknow, as Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram could only score 1 run against Narine in the super over.
