India squad announcement: The squads for the one-off Test and the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan has been announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Shubman Gill will lead the side in both the formats as the one-off Test is set to take place between June 6-10, followed by the three-match ODI series from June 14 onwards. Jasprit Bumrah has been rested from the series entirely, while the inclusion of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya in the ODI series is subject to their fitness. Mohammed Shami has been snubbed once again, while Gurnoor Brar and Harsh Dubey have been rewarded with call-ups for their performances in the domestic circuit.
