That is it. Khilan Patel takes the last wicket of the match and Pakistan is bundled out for 194. Excellent semis comes to an end.

No one can really point out, how and when Pakistan lost their way in the chase. Forget the qualification equation also, this one should have been easy.

Khilan Patel bowls one in the slot and the batter goes for a biggie. But Kanishk Chouhan takes an exceptional catch here.

So, moving away from the match a bit. Pakistan govt has not given the clearance to the PCB for IND vs PAK match in the T20 World Cup.

Pakistan has lost their sixth wicket as Vihaan Malhotra has a wicket now. This match is slipping out for them.

This is not looking good for Pakistan. Usman tries to sweep and misses the ball completely. Ayush Mhatre has his second wicket.

After a long while, 100 is up for Pakistan. They have batted better than India until now, but that will not be enough to take the team to semis.

A near-perfect over by Chouhan at this juncture, where Pakistan need quick runs. He comes up with a maiden.

The partnership is finally broken and Hamza is bowled for 42. The ball hits the pad, and then rolls on to the stumps. Kanishk appealed and had his hands on the head.

Nothing seems to be working for the Indians. They really need to strike. Maybe someone like Vihaan Malhotra should come in, or Ayush Mhatre.

India is in desperate need of a wicket. Hamza and Usman are doing well and are getting boundaries regularly.

Hamza Zahoor and Usman Khan are close to stitching a 50-run stand. 


Pakistan now need 182 runs from 129 balls.

Deepesh Devendran created a chance in his first over (9th) but Aaron George, who came running forward from fine leg, failed to grab it. A reprieve for Usman Khan and Pakistan.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi went down to the ground, grabbing at his hamstring. The physio came out running and for a moment, it looked like he'd be in trouble. But he's fine. In fact, he dives for a ball the next delivery. India will hope he remains for the semifinals, that is, if India qualifies.

After taking a couple of balls to settle, Usman Khan has smashed RS Ambrish for consecutive boundaries in the 7th over.

Remember, Pakistan needs to chase the target down in 33.3 overs. They can't afford to slow down under any circumstances.

As has been the norm in the tournament so far, PAK batters have struggled against spinners. Maybe India can get on Khilan early.

There you go. Sameer Minhas is out LBW. Henil Patel has the first wicket here for India and this is a big blow for Pakistan.

The Pakistan chase has started and all eyes will be on Sameer Minhas. If India can get him early that will be a big bonus.

The equation is clear for Pakistan. They have to make 253 in only 202 deliveries. The pitch isn't great at all.

Off cutter from Subhan and he is bowled. That is how the last over starts. Third delivery Chouhan also falls as Minhas takes an excellent catch. And India is all out for 252.

Chouhan has brought India a few boundaries, and the score is starting to look a little better now. Khilan gets another four.

Ali Raza has picked up Amrish. He is out for 29 from 38. Overall poor by India and they are struggling to get some runs.

Still no signs of aggression from the Indian batters and Ambrish and Chouhan are dealing in singles and doubles.

Let us just say that the pitch is not the best to bat on. Vedant is out for 68 as Momin picks up a wicket.

Look, it is on Pakistan to win it big from here, but India just cannot get complacent. 250 is when they can put the opposition under immense pressure.

Good over for India. Amrish gets a boundary at the start of the fresh over. Now the need of the hour is a few boundaries.

Amrish will have to bat really well and at a quick pace as well. This is not looking good for them at the moment.

Kundu tries to go over the top and Subhan takes a simple catch. Baloch has a wicket and India in deep trouble here.

Seyam has been the stand out bowler here for Pakistan and the Next 10 overs are very crucial for the Indians. Maiden over here.

Maybe there is swing on offer and Seyam is back into the attack. He has picked up two wickets already. Oh there you go. Seyam has picked up Kundu. Edges and caught behind. It is a no ball, batter is safe. And fighting 50 Vedant.

The runs are coming rather slowly for now. But if these stay around for longer, then the boundaries will come too.

And now, the pressure is back on India. Ahmad Hussain has a wicket as Vihaan plays it back to the bowler. He is caught out for 21.

If a few more overs go without a wicket, then Pakistan should be a worried lot. They need to chase down whatever total, within 30 overs.

Instead of relying on boundaries, Vedant and Vihaan are looking to score in singles and doubles here. This is a good phase where both batters look settled.

Ahmad Hussain comes into the attack here. He will turn away from the right hander. A few boundaries needed now.

One of the most impressive players for India in this tournament has been Abhigyan Kundu. Not only has he kept the wickets well, but also batted elegantly. No flashy shots, but pure masterclass.

Subhan has bowled really well where he has not given away runs and picked up a wicket too. So Vedant and Vihaan need to stay calm.

So a testing hour for the Indians as they lost Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Ayush Mhatre and Aaron George in a span of just 4 balls. Mohammed Sayem was magnificent until his last over, where Vedant Trivedi got better of him. Abdul Subhan has also delivered 1/5 in his 3 overs, enjoying his tail pace. Now, at 68/3 India need Trivedi (10*) and Vihaan Malhotra (6*) to build a strong partnership, Pakistan are desperate anyways since they need to chase the total down inside 30 overs in order to have a chance at qualification.

What is going on here? The match has turned upside down in a matter of 4 balls. Yes. Pakistan have bagged 3 wickets in a span of 4 balls as Abdul Subhan strikes in his first ball of the day. The tall pacer, who relies on pitching at the right areas, delivered a jaffa straight up, hitting the top of the off against Aaron George (16). 

Vihaan Malhotra and Vedant Trivedi are the two new batters, with both yet to get off the mark. 

It goes from bad to worse for India U19 as Pakistan have Ayush Mhatre for a duck. Superb bowling from Sayyam as he gets his second in three balls. A tame poke outside off stump and a simple catch to keeper. There was a moment that fortune was with Mhatre as umpires checked for a potential no-ball. However, there was something inside the line for Sayyam.

But Suryavnashi fails to make the most of the chance as he nicks one on the next ball. Mohammed Sayyam with a superb strike as he gets his reward for bowling good lines.

• Mohammad Sayyam bowls a short ball to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
• Vaibhav pulls the ball, but it tops the edge and goes high in the air, becoming a catchable chance for Huzaifa Ahsan.
• Huzaifa Ahsan fails to take the catch, dropping the ball, making a mess of it.
• The dropped catch leads to a missed run-out chance as Huzaifa's throw to the keeper's end is mishandled by the approaching fielder, allowing Vaibhav to escape.
• Basically two chances to dismiss Suryavanshi but they spill both.

So an entertaining start to the 🇮🇳 vs 🇵🇰 match as we see a couple of boundaries and now a missed chance. Ali Raza bowls a hard length delivery and George couldn't keep it down. The ball went high in the air but the short square leg fielder failed to reach towards the ball. Soon, Vaibhav Suryavanshi punishes the pacer with a beautiful boundary towards the off side.
