ENG W vs IND W Test LIVE: 142 years after hosting the first-ever Test match, the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground will host its first-ever Women’s Test as India Women will lock horns with England Women in a one-off Test. Since 2021, the Women in Blue have won three, drawn two, and lost one out of the 6 Tests that they have played. Their recent loss came against Australia in the Day-Night encounter last year as they lost by 10 wickets. Meanwhile, ENG W have played more Tests than the visitors in the last five years. However, they were whitewashed by Australia 0-3 in their last series.

Both India and England will enter the one-off Test, looking to bounce back after suffering heartbreaks in the recently concluded Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. ENG-W lost to Australia in the final. Meanwhile, India were knocked out in the group stage. India have had a little more time than England to prepare for this one-off Test and will be eyeing to win the historic tie. The one-off Test will commence from 3.30 PM IST onwards.

This India Women vs England Women Test at Lord’s is history in the making.

It’s the first-ever women’s Test at the "Home of Cricket", ending a 142-year wait since Lord’s hosted its first men’s Test. While the ground has staged 150 men’s Tests, women were kept out for decades by MCC rules. That finally changed after the ICEC slammed cricket’s equity issues in 2023.

Also, it comes 50 years after Rachael Heyhoe-Flint led England out for the first women’s international at Lord’s, an ODI in August 1976.
