DPL 2026 auction LIVE: The Delhi Premier League 2026 auction is all set to take place at the national capital on July 1, with 600 players registered for the event. Stars like Rishabh Pant, Mayank Yadav, Digvesh Rathi, Himmat Singh, Sarthak Ranjan, and Suyash Sharma will go under the hammer on Wednesday. 65 players have been retained by the franchises ahead of the DPL 2026 auction. Each team is allotted a purse of Rs 1.5 crore. The players who will go under the hammer have been divided into four categories – Marquee, Category A, Category B, and Category C. For women’s franchises, each team has been allotted a purse of Rs 75 lakhs.

Player categories

8 players can be retained from the Marquee category, 16 from Category A, 22 from Category B and 19 from Category C.

Marquee: India internationals, India A players and players who’ve been part of IPL squad in any of the last 3 seasons
Category A: Delhi’s senior men’s players who’ve played in any of the previous 3 domestic seasons
Category B: Delhi Under-23, Under-19 and Under-16 players
Category C: DDCA-registered players from Delhi’s league cricket circuit

The base price for Marquee players is Rs 10 lakhs, Category A is Rs 5 lakhs, Category B is Rs 3 lakhs and Category C is Rs 1 lakh.
