Mohammed Shami (GT)
Mohammed Shami recently picked up an injury and has been struggling to get fit after that. He has also missed several series for India including the important Test Series against South Africa and England. To note, Shami finished as the leading wicket-taker of IPL 2023.
Suryakumar Yadav (MI)
Suryakumar Yadav has been out with a leg injury as he had to miss the series with Afghanistan due to the same reason. Despite being on the road to recovery, Suryakumar Yadav would still require at least two months of resting period, which might mean would miss some games for his side at least.
Rishabh Pant (DC)
Another player who has been away from the cricket field for a long while now is Rishabh Pant. He faced a terrible accident on December 31, 2022 and has been on a journey of recovery ever since. The Capitals might be thinking of using Pant as an impact player for the upcoming IPL 2024.
Rashid Khan (GT)
Gujarat Titans ace spinner, Rashid Khan recently underwent a surgery as he also missed the first-ever IND vs AFG T20I series. Rashid Khan will also not be participating in the upcoming PSL 2024. He is highly doubtful for the IPL 2024 as well.
