It’s cricket all over! On one hand, the IPL is in full swing, and on the other, things are now set for the much-anticipated 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League, which is scheduled to begin on 11 April 2025 and will run until 18 May 2025. It’s clear that two quality leagues are clashing this year.
Speaking about PSL 2025, the curtain-raiser will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The tournament will feature six franchises, Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans – and will be hosted across four cities: Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.

Karachi Kings are going with an experienced name to lead the camp, and that is none other than Australian legend David Warner. Apart from that, there are quite a few Pakistani names as well, Shadab Khan will continue to lead Islamabad United in PSL 2025, whereas Shaheen Shah Afridi remains at the helm for Lahore Qalandars. Quetta Gladiators have picked the fresh face of Saud Shakeel. Meanwhile, last but not least, Pakistan’s batting ace Babar Azam will once again take charge of Peshawar Zalmi.
