As RCB’s bowling attack struggled, a section of the fans started chanting “Kohli ko bowling do (Give the ball to Kohli),” a playful jab suggesting that perhaps even Kohli’s part-time bowling could offer more than the frontline bowlers.
Kohli acknowledged the chants with a smile and a wave, signaling his disapproval of the idea. These chants were reminiscent of those heard during India’s matches at the 2023 ODI World Cup.
