Notably, Kolkata will play the fewest matches in the initial phase of IPL 2024, with only three fixtures against SRH, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Delhi Capitals. The schedule for the remaining games will be announced once the Election schedule is finalized.
This season, KKR welcomes back their regular captain Shreyas Iyer, who missed the last season due to a back injury. Iyer and his team aim to commence their campaign positively with a victory against SRH in their sole home game of the first phase.
