Kolkata Knight Riders have a tough task at hand when they take on Delhi Capitals at the Eden Gardens on Monday. Ahead of the match, while the Knights were busy in practice at the Eden Gardens, and a familiar faced dropped in to see then Knights in action. KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan on Sunday was spotted at the Eden Gardens attending the practice session of KKR.
Shah Rukh Khan has been a regular presence in KKR‘s matches at the Eden Gardens this season. SRK has seen his team rip apart bowlers of opposition to pile on a huge score. He has also witnessed PBKS chase down KKR’s massive total of 261.
SRK the ‘best owner’
SRK has been known to be a passionate owner who is involved in the team’s affairs. Previously, KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir has spoken out about the kind of owner SRK is, labelling him as the best owner he has worked with.
“He is the best owner I have worked with. And the reason is not because I am now, or was earlier, part of KKR. I don’t think that in seven years of my captaincy, we’ve had a cricketing conversation for seven minutes, except for that patch which I was going through,” Gambhir has said.
SRK on Sunday once again proved the rationale behind Gambhir’s claim, being present at the KKR practice.
