Kolkata Knight Riders had bought seven players on the first day and spent Rs 40.95 crore in the process.

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) covered most of their bases on the first day of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction. They’ve got some great top-order batters in Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Venkatesh Iyer, and Quinton de Kock with a strong middle-order already present. They now need some spinners with a main focus on Washington Sundar and a couple of pacers but have only Rs 10.50 crore to spend to get at least 5 players in their squad.
