Ruturaj Gaikwad has been doing a fine job as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper. Having led the side in two matches, he has found himself on the victorious side on both occasions. The opener also performed well with the bat in the last match, scoring a crucial 46 against the Gujarat Titans.
However, CSK fans have one request from Ruturaj: bring MS Dhoni up the order. Having won both matches rather comfortably, CSK hasn’t required Dhoni’s services yet. But die-hard fans of the superstar wicketkeeper batter need to watch Thala bat as many times as possible in what could be his last IPL season.
An MS Dhoni fan was seen carrying a placard during the DC vs CSK match in Vizag, with this written on it: “Dear Ruturaj, you are doing great job with your new role but please promote our Thala up the order and justify our ticket.”
