The historic rivalry between India and Pakistan is world-famous and comparing the two teams’ players is bound to happen. Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has already declared the winner between Bumrah and Shaheen. The 43-year-old believes that Bumrah is good, but he is nowhere close to Shaheen Afridi’s level.
“Shaheen bahut accha hai, Bumrah toh uske paas bhi nahi aata (Shaheen is very good. Bumrah doesn’t come near him),” said Razzaq.
When asked who was better among Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Shaheen, Razzaq replied: “All three are good.”

Due to a back injury, Jasprit Bumrah missed the Asia Cup and also the T20 World Cup in Australia last year. He was expected to make a comeback in the T20I series against Sri Lanka but that too couldn’t happen as he failed to recover on time. The 29-year-old will also miss the first two Tests in the upcoming series against Australia.
On the other hand, Shaheen Afridi has been nursing a recurring knee injury and is currently undergoing rehabilitation for the same. The left-arm quick was out of action for most of the latter half of 2022. He missed the 2022 Asia Cup and make a return ahead of the T20 World Cup in Australia.
