It’ll be made for sure: Mohammed Shami ‘confirms’ potential future biopic

Shami is from a humble background and was born in a village in Amroha to a former faster bowler turned farmer, Tauseef Ali.

Cricket fans will not only see Mohammed Shami on the cricket field but on the cinema screen as well. The menacing fast bowler has all but confirmed that a biopic will be made on him. The 33-year-old pacer hails from a small village (Sahaspur) in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, and has made the way to become one of the greatest bowlers in ODI World Cup history.

Attending the Times of India Sports Award (TOISA), the pacer was awarded Cricketer of the Year for 2023. After receiving the award, the presenter (Mandira Bedi) asked Mohammed Shami about the name of a potential biopic that’ll be made about him and who’ll play him in the movie.

“Banage zaroor (it’ll definitely be made),” said Shami on the possibility of a biopic being made on him.

Struggler isn’t a bad name,” said the pacer, giving his biopic a name.
