It looks like Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins is heading out of India amid IPL 2025. SRH have had a miserable season so far, managing to win only 2 out of 7 matches played. On Friday, Cummins’ wife Becky took to social media platform Instagram to post a story along with a caption that indicated that she was leaving the country.
Pat Cummins leaves India amid IPL?
In a series of stories on Instagram, the SRH captain’s wife indicated that she was leaving the country. However, it is unclear whether or not Cummins is accompanying her. The caption for one of the stories read “Pat Cummins always overpacking.” The other story was captioned, “Goodbye India. We have loved visiting this beautiful country.”
SRH in IPL 2025
Pat Cummins-led SRH have failed to replicate their prowess from IPL 2024 this season. The team has won just two games – both in Hyderabad. The 2024 runners-up lost to MI on Thursday, suffering a six-wicket defeat at the hands of Hardik Pandya and co.
SRH are the only team in IPL 2025 who are yet to win an away game. They started IPL 2025 on a high note with a 44-run win against RR. However, Cummins & co. then went on to lose four games on the trot.
They bounced back with a mammoth 8-wicket win over PBKS in the previous game. Abhishek Sharma stormed back to form with a record-setting 141-run knock in the tie. However, SRH failed to carry on the momentum to the next game.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will once again lock horns with Mumbai Indians in their next match on April 23. Cummins and co. will be eyeing to exact revenge, with the game scheduled to be played in their home ground Hyderabad.
