SRH predicted XI vs LSG: All eyes on Head, Sharma & Kishan, 300 on Cummins & co’s mind

SRH's predicted playing XI vs LSG is likely to see no changes being made to the line-up as Cummins & co will target the 300-run mark

Sunrisers Hyderabad are likely to stick with the same playing XI for their tie against Lucknow Super Giants on Thursday. Cummins & co. came very close to breaching the 300-run mark in their IPL 2025 opener against RR, managing to amass 286 runs.

The last time SRH faced LSG in IPL 2024, they made a mockery of the opposition by chasing down 165 runs in just 9.4 overs. That was the same game after which KL Rahul was schooled publicly by LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka. They will hope to replcate the same feat against an injury-stricken LSG and in fact, try and reach that triple hundred mark which isn’t far away.

Head, Sharma and Kishan in focus

The powerhouse opening combo of Head and Sharma will hope to click as a duo once again after failing to do so in the first game. While the Australian did manage to score 67 off 31 deliveries, his partner only scored 24. However, it was Kishan who stepped up on that occasion, smashing a blistering 106-run knock.

As they head into their second game at their homeground Hyderabad, the batters will look to use the conditions to their advantage. 300 runs was just 14 runs away in their previous game. Now, SRH will look to make mockery of LSG’s injury-stricken bowling attack and reach that elusive 300 on Thursday.
