Star Sports got IPL media rights for $ 6.2 billion, Rs 23,575 crore while Viacom18 acquired the digital rights for Rs 23,758 crore from IPL 2023 to 2027.

IPL Auction Live Streaming: Why two broadcasters for IPL 2023 Auction?
Star Sports holds broadcast rights of IPL 2023. Viewers who have access to TV can watch the live broadcast on Star Sports channels from 2:30 PM on December 23. Viewers who wish to watch live streaming will have to tune in to Viacom18’s Jio Cinema App. They have digital rights for IPL 2023.
But unlike the FIFA World Cup 2022, there won’t be 4K Live streaming of the IPL 2023 auction. Instead, IPL 2023 matches will get live streamed on Jio Cinema App.
