PBKS will head into the auction for a whopping purse of 110.5 crores while Rajasthan Royals have the least purse of 41 crores

The IPL 2025 Retention deadline has passed. Each and every team has officially submitted their Retention List for the upcoming Auction. And with each side retaining their core chunk of players, a considerable sum of money too has been subtracted from their original kitty. Here, we take a look at the Purse Money left for each side after their IPL 2025 Retention List.

Mumbai Indians have been the highest spenders and the MI franchise has retained their big 4 stars. These include Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav. Tilak Varma too has been retained.

Kolkata Knight Riders are the only team in the League to retain as many as 6 players. They have kept 4 of their big boys along with 2 uncapped stars. Rinku Singh is the highest-priced pick for a price of 13 crore. Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy and Andre Russell join for 12 crore each. On the other hand, Harshit Rana and Ramandeep Singh are retained as uncapped players for a price of 4 crore each.

Furthermore, the team will also have as many as 4 RTMs available for them. Shashank Singh (5.5 Crore) and Prabhsimran Singh are the two Retentions for the Punjab outfits.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

RCB has retained just 3 players for IPL 2025. Among the big misses are Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj. But it will be Virat Kohli who tops the pack with a whopping price of 21 crore. Rajat Paridar is retained for a price of 11 crore while uncapped player Yash Dayal stays for a price of 5 crore. With 39 Crore spent, RCB has a purse of 83 Crores

Delhi Capitals

One of the biggest news of the day was the retention of Nicholas Pooran for a whopping sum of 21 crores. This meant skipper KL Rahul wasn’t retained. On the other hand, Mayank Yadav and Ravi Bishnoi too stay for a price of 11 crore each. LSG have also retained 3 uncapped players, Mohsin Khan and Ayush Badoni for 4 Crore each.

Sai Sudharshan is also retained for 8.5 crore. There are also two uncapped players in the form of Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan.

Last comes the quick-firing Shivam Dube and uncapped Star – the former India captain MS Dhoni

Riyan Paraga and Dhruv Jurel are retained for 14 crore each. Shimron Hetmyer is kept for 11 crores while Sandeep Sharma remains for 4 crore.
