Indian Premier League side Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday played their second intra-squad practice match of the season ahead of the start of IPL 2024. The Sunrises B squad emerged victorious after winning by 6 wickets, A 69-run knock from Abhishek Sharma propelled the Rahul Tripathi side to 199, while SRH A having players Travis Head, Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen posted a total of 196.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will look to win their second IPL trophy when they take the field in IPL 2024. The SRH management experimented with different captains in previous IPL seasons but it did not bore fruit. In the IPL 2024 Auction, SRH bought World Cup winning Australian captain Pat Cummins and handed over the captaincy mantle to him.
They also bought a number of good players in the form of Travis Head, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Jaydev Unadkat. Now with almost the whole squad available, SRH are playing a lot of practice games ahead of IPL 2024.
