Sai Sudharsan

Sai Sudharsan was the first-ever impact substitute used by GT in the IPL 2023. He replaced Kane Williamson as an impact substitute during the first match of the 2023 season. He was GT’s third-highest run-getter in the 2023 season scoring 362 runs in just eight matches.

Rahul Tewatia

Rahul Tewatia may not find a place in the team as a spinner. However, his finishing skills while batting down the order may find him a place in the XI through the impact player rule. The left-handed batter has the ability to hit the long ball and can be quite deadly in the death overs.

Mohit Sharma

Mohit Sharma was the second-highest wicket-taker in the 2023 season of the IPL where he took 27 wickets at an average of 13.37. The right-arm pacer is an ideal candidate to be replaced as an impact player in the GT XI for the upcoming IPL edition.

Probable GT playing XI for IPL 2024:

Shubman Gill (c), Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Kane Williamson, Vijay Shankar, David Miller, Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Noor Ahmad, Spencer Johnson, Kartik Tyagi/Umesh Yadav.
