Delhi Police detained some fans at the Arun Jaitley stadium on Tuesday for raising political slogans amid the DC vs RR match. Police officials informed that certain fans were found raising slogans in favour of AAP chief and jailed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and that they were detained for creating public nuisance.

Our staff are deployed at various points in the stadium. We have detained some persons for creating public nuisance. They are being bound down accordingly and will be released after legal formalities. We encourage all spectators to enjoy the game and not indulge in such activity in the stadium,” Delhi Police informed.
