IPL 2024 Auction: Travis Head, Harry Brook among 2 crore base price, check complete list

The list features several World Cup winners, including Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and others

The Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday released the final list of 333 players to be auctioned at IPL 2024. Of the 333 players, 214 players are Indians and 119 overseas. 77 spots will be available in the mini-auction, which is likely to be the biggest in recent times. The total number of capped players is 116, while the number of uncapped players is 215 with 2 from the Associate countries. 

23 players in total have registered themselves in the top base price bracket of INR 2 crore, with 20 overseas players featuring in the list.

The list of foreign players in the 2 crore bracket contains some big names. The list features several World Cup winners such as Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Travis Head, and few others.

Other than the World Cup winners, spinner Mujeeb ur Rahman features as the lone Afghanistan player in the list. The list also has several England players on the list despite the team’s lackluster performance in recent times. Seven England players have chosen to stay on the Rs 2 crore list. Jamie Overton, David Willey, Ben Duckett, James Vince, Harry Brook, Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid.

Three South African players feature in the bracket. Mustafizur Rehman is the only player representing Bangladesh in the list, much like Lockie Ferguson.
