IPL 2024 Auction: Pat Cummins set for ‘Big-Money’ return after gap year

Pat Cummins, who skipped the IPL 2023 due to a packed schedule, is anticipated to grab big bucks in IPL 2024 Auction.

All eyes will be in Dubai tomorrow as 333 players are set to go under the hammer at Coca-Cola Arena on Tuesday in the IPL 2024 auction.

Just like every year, Australia and England’s star players are tipped to attract big bids in the auction.

Australia’s skipper Pat Cummins is among those star who is likely to spark bidding war in the auction.

Cummins, who skipped the IPL 2023 due to a packed schedule, is anticipated to grab big bucks after leading the national side to World Cup win in India last month.

Pat Cummins, who was sold for a whopping INR 15.50 crore to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2020 auction, enters this year’s event with base price of INR 2 crore.

Pat Cummins – A complete package

Cummins has made notable contributions with both and ball in IPL in past. However, with him leading Australia to World Cup, the 30-year-old showcased his captaincy skills which will be an added bonus for any side.

Teams like Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, who have struggled with leadership in recent years, have an opportunity and purse to go all in for the Australian skipper.
