With the IPL 2024 Auction player registration deadline coming to an end on November 30, a whopping 1166 players have registered. Among them are Australian ODI World Cup winner Travis Head. Apart from him, Mitchell Starc is also returning to IPL after a long 8 years gap. Australia ODI & Test captain Pat Cummins too will be back on auction table after skipping the last edition. New Zealander Rachin Ravindra is the other big attraction in the auction.
IPL 2024 Auction will take place in Dubai on December 19. Among the 1166 players, 830 are Indians while 336 are overseas players.
Some of the big name Indian pacers will also be at the auction. Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav and Harshal Patel have registered themselves at the maximum base price of Rs 2 Crore.
Josh Hazlewood back in auction
An interesting move is of Josh Hazlewood. The Australian pacer was released by Royal Challengers Bangalore due to uncertainty of his availability. He has also registered for the auction.
