Jio Cinema posted a teaser video on its official social media handles on Friday, confirming the expert panel for the auction. The video features only the names of Suresh Raina, Chris Gayle and Eoin Morgan. However, AB de Villiers and Anil Kumble are also set to be part of the panel.
The final IPL 2023 auction pool has 405 players who will be going under the hammer. Some of the big names include England’s Test skipper Ben Stokes, England all-rounder Sam Curran and Australia all-rounder Cameron Green. All these players have listed their base price in the maximum 2 crore category.

Out of the 405 players, 273 are Indians and 132 are from other countries, including four from associate countries. There are 119 capped players, 282 uncapped players, and 4 players from associate countries. All these players will fight for 87 places in total, 30 of which are reserved for players from abroad.
Out of the 10 teams, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be the team with the maximum purse at the auction. They have 42.25 crore left in the purse, followed by Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants with 32.20 crores and 23.35 crores respectively.
