  • The southpaw made his First-Class debut in 2018
  • He scored 180 runs in Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2021-22 and also took four wickets
  • Scored 215 runs in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in seven games at a strike rate of 147.26

Verma has also revealed that he is looking forward to playing against CSK. He also told he has admired MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja for the longest time. “I think that would be CSK. I have admired MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja for a long time, so doing well and winning a match for MI against them will give me great confidence.

I can already feel it is going to be a nightmare to face him. I must make sure to not forget my helmet while batting against him!” Verma said to the Mumbai Indians website.
