RCB NEW Captain Interview: Du Plessis who has played 10 years of his life for Chennai Super Kings could not forgot his former captain during the interview.
According to Du Plessis, he was blown away by different style of captaincy of MS Dhoni during the time he was with CSK. According to the former South African captain – he had never seen anything of sort what Dhoni brought to the table.
“MS was just different. I had never seen anything of sort the way Dhoni use to lead CSK. He was completely different. Though both of us are very relaxed characters. I can’t be Dhoni, nor I can be Virat Kohli. I will be what I am. I will focus on my style”, declared the new RCB Captain.
RCB NEW Captain Interview: Earlier, Du Plessis was announced as the new leader of RCB on March 12. The former South African captain has a huge amount of captaincy experience and has led his country in all three formats of the game. He was also the top performer for CSK for the past four years. The right-hand batter has shown incredible consistency at the top of the order with his former team.
