IPL 2022: Virat Kohli’s STRUGGLES CONTINUE despite Ravi Shastri advice, ex-RCB captain falls cheaply for 9 after opening the innings

It has been more than 100 innings across all competitions and formats that Kohli raised his bat for a century, but a hundred will be the least of his concerns with the RCB star struggling to get runs at the moment. searching for a turnaround, Kohli has now take the advice of former India head coach Ravi Shastri who urged Kohli to open the batting.
Speaking before the RCB vs RR Game, Ravi Shatri was quoted saying during the broadcast – “Virat Kohli should open, why not. But there are two aspects of it. If it works for him, good for him. If it doesn’t work out, he could say, well, I tried.”
While Kohli has scored more than 50% of his runs at his preferred No.3 slot, his numbers at the top of the order are nothing short of sublime. Incidentally, the former RCB captain’s historic 973 run season also came while opening the innings with Chris Gayle. His strike rates are also effectively up with the field restrictions and it could lead to a much needed change in fortunes.
