Coffee With Virat Kohli – Virat Kohli Rage Coffee: The F&B D2C startup will deploy funds to expand its online presence and offline footprint across India.

It will utilise capital for marketing and distribution purposes, scale production, launch innovative new products and add senior management talent.

Founded in 2018 by Bharat Sethi, Rage Coffee manufactures and distributes coffee products across India. The startup claims to be the first plant-based vitamins coffee brand globally.

Virat Kohli Investments: Apart from being one of the most accomplished sportsmen on the planet, Kohli is also an investor in many startups spanning mobile gaming, fashion wear and fintech.

  • Over the years, Virat Kohli has infused money in several startups. This year, he along with his wife Anushka Sharma made an undisclosed investment in plant-based meat startup Blue Tribe.

  • Kohli began his investment journey at the age of 25 when he bought a stake in a London-based social media startup —Sports Convo for an undisclosed sum.

  • In February 2019, he invested in Galactus Funware Technology Pvt Limited, a Bengaluru-headquartered company, which owns the online gaming platform Mobile Premier League (MPL).
  • Kohli’s investment portfolio also includes Universal Sportsbiz (USPL), a fashion startup in which he invested Rs 19.30 crore in October 2020. It is be noted that Sachin Tendulkar is also an investor in Universal Sportsbiz.
  • The cricket also has a stake in Bengaluru-based health and fitness startup which owns gyms and fitness centres across the country. According to Business Standard, Kohli had invested Rs 90 crore in the company in 2015.
  • Kohli is also a restauranteur. Located in RK Puram, Nueva, a Muti-cuisine restaurant by Kohli serves South American food, inspirations from Portugal, Italy, Spain, Japan and other regions.
  • Kohli’s most talked-about investment is in online insurance aggregator Digit Insurance which was valued at $3.5 billion after the recent round of funding. Virat and wife Anushka Sharma together hold 0.25% stake in Prem Watsa-based fintech company with a total investment of Rs 2.2 crore.
