The video was shared by the franchise on Wednesday with the caption, “Just two friends vibing over football. We can’t get enough of RP17 and Fletcher Ponting playing together.”
Fletcher tried to tackle Rishabh Pant and he was impressive with his skills. The seven-year Fletcher even showcased his butterfly lift while playing with Pant. The video ended with the kid hitting a long kick to the Delhi Capitals skipper.
Delhi Capitals are currently at the seventh position on the points table with four wins in nine matches. The team needs to win almost all their remaining matches to stand any chance of qualifying for the playoffs.
This is Pant’s second full season as skipper of the franchise after he was appointed as skipper during the last edition following Shreyas Iyer’s injury. The skipper haven’t had a great tournament with the bat so far.
