Joins an elite class of players in just 11 innings – Jos has now joined an elite class of players to have scored joint-fastest 600 runs in an IPL campaign. Shaun Marsh in the inaugural season of 2008 was the first to reach 600-run mark with Kings XI Punjab. While three years later Chris Gayle managed to do so with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In 2016 Virat Kohli became the third player to join them while David Warner was the last inductee in the list in 2019.

Jos currently is the 18th overall highest scorer in a single season of the IPL. With still three matches to go in league phase and a potential playoff scenario where he could play three matches, Jos could have six more innings to play and will fancy his chances to improve on his numbers.
